We are definately in the climbing stage

Wednesday is geocache day.  Rogelio grabs the GPS, corrals us into the car and off we go to find hidden treasure.

This week, his GPS guided us to the park in Los Barrios, a village just down the road.  Yago was happy with that turn of events.  Better than some dark, dank cave on the side of a mountain, which would be Rogelio’s first choice.

Los Barrios has a neat park.  But it was only 5:30pm so other kids were slim to none.

It has this great old train with colorfully painted cars behind.  Turns out that the GPS led Rogelio right to the engine.

There he is trying to look nonchalant while combing the train for his prize.  But I could tell that his mania was building.  If you have only known Rogelio in English, perhaps you have never seen Rogelio when he is being “Spanish”.  The guy can be intense.

MUST.  FIND.  TRINKETS.

Yago seems to take after Rogelio is his ability to obsess on a task.

MUST.  CLIMB.

MUST.  CLIMB.  MUST.  CLIMB.

Mommy!  There are more stairs over there.  NOW NOW NOW!  MUST CLIMB, MUST CLIMB,.   Daddy is too busy with his GPS to help me.  MOMMY!

MUST. CLIMB.  EVERYTHING.  MUST CLIMB.
